The Artist Of Heart Badge.
To earn the "Artist Of Heart" badge the applicant must provide music at three different community level performances. These could be community festivals, musicals, fetes, nursing homes, community bands, open mic's etc. Each performance should be filmed and submitted along with a reflection statement about what happened and how it felt to be involved.
The purpose of this badge is to encourage our musicians to participate and give back to the communities that they play and create in.
Choose Your Projects
- Look at community events coming up.
- Look into community bands and/or musical productions with casting calls.
- Choose three and apply for these and put your best foot forward.
Complete Performances
- Be practiced up and ready to go for showtime.
- Ask your teacher for help in learning parts or working through challenges.
- Take notes about wins and challenges you experience throughout.
- Do Stormer Music proud as a representative of our school and your music community.
Reflect and Submit
- Shortly after each experience write up what happened and what the experience was like (minimum one page per performance).
- Send us your reflections to [email protected] (these will remain in confidence).
- We will not be judging your writing style, but your approach and reflections in being a community minded musician
